Switch TV to the correct HDMI input. The Fire TV logo appears.
Insert batteries. Hold the Home button until the remote pairs.
Select your network and enter the password. The device may update automatically.
Log in with your Amazon credentials. Use the QR code + Amazon app on your phone for faster setup.
Search and install Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, etc., then sign in to each app. 🎉
📲 Apps + Amazon login
QR code method is fastest — scan with your phone’s Amazon app instead of typing a long password with the remote.
Enable “Allow Installation from Unknown Sources” only if you need sideloading.
Use 5GHz Wi-Fi for better 4K performance and less buffering.
Restart Fire Stick (hold Select + Play/Pause for 5 seconds). Replace batteries and re-pair.
Forget network and reconnect. Move closer to router or restart router.
